GEUM TRIFLORUM

Apache's Plume; Three flowered Avens; 

This is a western native a hardy little plant, under six inches in height, and blooming in spring and early summer. The green bud like flowers never open. They are succeeded by quaint feathery floating tails of a rosy smoke color. These dry well. and make a pretty fluffy addition to small bouquets.
