ERYNGIUM

ERYNGIUM LEAVENWORTHII

Common names

Eringo; Purple Thistle;

We do not make the use of native plants that we ought. This Eryngium grows I to 3 feet high and is very plentiful in parts of Texas, Kansas, and Arkansas. In the tall it bears bright purple thistle like flowers. I am told that these dry nicely, retaining both their shape and their bright color.
