AMMOBIUM
This Everlasting grows about 2 feet high. It is an awkward grower, and is not at all showy in the garden. Nor as a dried flower has it the beauty of the Acroclinium or Rodan, or the brilliancy of the Helichrysum or Gomphrena.
Nevertheless it is one of the most useful of its class. If one of these winter bouquets is analyzed it is sometimes found to contain more of this quiet unobtrusive flower than of any other one kind. From the tiniest bud to the expanded flower, it dries perfectly. Its long stems adapt it to use with grasses. Ammobium is an easily grown annual and quite hardy Color white ,with a yellow cente.r Cut before mature.
